Marine stop-check valve is a multi-purpose valve that has both stop valve and check valve functions. Its structure is similar to that of a stop valve, but the valve stem and valve disc are not fixedly connected. When the valve stem descends and presses the valve disc against the valve seat, it acts as a stop valve; when the valve stem rises, it acts as a check valve. On pipelines where both stop valves (or gate valves) and check valves need to be installed (such as the outlet of a water pump), or in places where the installation position is restricted (such as ships), the use of stop-check valves can save installation costs and space.
